About clothing
What do I need to take with me?
- weather-appropriate clothing
- a pair good shoes (trekking shoes, rubber boots)
- a hat or cap (in case of sunshine)
- comfortable trousers are recommended
As we will be digging the ground, you will inevitably be in contact with dirt. Relics are relatively small and sometimes pretty hard to see in the soil, and that’s why we have to use our hands, too. So, it’s not a good idea to wear your best white sweater. If you have any cuts in your hands or fingers, cover them with adhesive bandage.
General terms
Weather conditions permitting
In good weather and also in light rain, metal detecting is easy and safe. But during thunder and heavy rain metal detecting is not safe. That is why Metal Safaris reserves the right to postdate or suspend the safari in case of above-mentioned weather conditions.
Booking verification
Your booking will be confimed via e-mail.
In case you book a safari, which is already fully booked, we will contact you immideately
via e-mail or phone, and will offer you other date for treasurehunting.
Regulations
The participants are obliged to respect the Finnish law concerning antiquities.
